THE ESSENTIALS: Big ideas, big dialogue, true inspiration, and meaningful interactions - all can be found at VINITECH-SIFEL 2022, the global Show for the wine, fruit and vegetable production sectors, from 29 November to 1 December. A driving force behind these ever-changing sectors since 1977 and ever faithful to its DNA, the event brings together the whole ecosystem in readiness for truly inspirational dialogue. At a time when every sector faces the need to adapt, evolving to withstand climate change and the agro-ecological transition, VINITECH-SIFEL gives professionals the means to learn, to equip themselves with new solutions and to build these into their everyday activity. This 2022 edition will welcome 900 exhibitors (manufacturers and distributors), along with a packed program of over 70 talks and forums.

VINITECH-SIFEL; the power of a national and international expert network

VINITECH-SIFEL’s new signature branding, “LET’S SHARE INSPIRATION!” summarizes the commitment and the involvement of leading speakers from all industry sectors: international organizations, trade organizations, defense or management bodies, professional and training organizations, technical and scientific institutes, universities, and technical colleges, and more. Their contribution will ensure the inspiration will be truly meaningful. In parallel, VINITECH-SIFEL welcomes the extensive involvement of regional economic players and public authorities and will showcase how they support the sector.

VINITECH-SIFEL 2022, overview

900 manufacturers and distributors expected

5 months away from the show, 90% of exhibitors have already confirmed their participation. The VINITECH-SIFEL offer will be built around 4 show hubs representing every stage of production - VINEYARDS AND ORCHARDS / CELLARS AND VINEYARDS / BOTTLING & PACKAGING / SERVICES – and 5 cross-cutting trails: Organic, Fruits and vegetables, Spirits, Low Carbon (new) and Beer (new) - a new path to diversification.

  Innovation areas to support change

VINITECH-SIFEL enhances the visitor experience with an area dedicated to technical tastings “Wine & Spirit Profiling”, themed areas, so that producers can come away from the show with the answers they need: “International Start up Village” (35 participants), an all-new “Low Carbon Objective Area” (equipment exhibitions, talks and experience feedback).  The Ecophyto & Agroecology topics will also have their own equipment exhibition area and talks. Extension of the outdoor Demonstrations and Testing space.

Employment and training services

In collaboration with the ISVV (Institute des Sciences de la Vigne et du Vin) Vinitech Training offers a training service for exhibitors and visitors (registration required) based on 2 modules: “Developing high-quality oenological analyses for better decision-making” and “Olfactory faults in wine” (with tastings). The Sphère des Métiers [Career Sphere] in collaboration with Vitijob offers job dating, training, and employment coaching sessions.

An expert and visionary view

Beyond those all-important meetings and business sessions, VINITECH-SIFEL is all about bringing together the whole national and international community, devising a rich program of over 70 meetings and talks to share advances around topics such as: agroecology, carbon neutrality, packaging innovation - and the economic outlook.
