At this event, Epta solidifies its role as a Fully Integrated Provider, catering to operators in the Retail, Food & Beverage, and Ho.Re.Ca. sectors.

From October 8th to 10th at Stand 7-332, Hall 7, Epta’s Total Solution will showcase a complete and innovative offering designed to meet diverse retail needs worldwide. Integrated through synergy between the Group's brands, Epta's portfolio is based on natural refrigerants, enabling it to lead market trends and comply with the latest regulations. Under the slogan "Innovation Reloaded. The Epta Sustainable System," all solutions align with the new European F-Gas Regulation (EU) 2024/573, promoting Sustainable Innovation.

THE THREE TECHNOLOGICAL PILLARS FOR NATURAL REFRIGERATION

Epta’s natural refrigeration is built on three core technologies, highlighted at the stand with infographics, interactive displays, and digital experiences. These technologies rely on R290 propane and CO2, viable alternatives to traditional HFC refrigerants, providing superior efficiency and a lower environmental footprint.

The Group’s expertise has led to the development of propane plug-ins, Integral solutions, and transcritical CO2 remote cabinets. The propane R290 plug-ins, self-contained units for both positive and negative temperatures, do not need a connection to a central refrigeration plant, ideal for small retail spaces. Epta’s R290 Integral solutions, with air-cooled (Air) or water-cooled (Waterloop) systems, feature a fully integrated refrigeration unit within the cabinet. These technologies blend modular and energy-efficient designs of remote cabinets with the easy installation of plug-ins, maintaining product display integrity. The transcritical CO2 remote cabinets, now in their fourth generation, showcase Epta’s leadership in CO2 refrigeration. Glycol-based models are also available, using a natural refrigerant to cool glycolated water distributed to remote systems via dedicated pipelines.

FROM CONCEPT TO REALITY: SOLUTIONS AT THE CORE

Epta’s stand will feature innovative solutions under the Costan and Bonnet Névé brands, representing individual technologies. On display for the propane plug-in series is the Tango/MultiFresh from the SlimFit/MultiCity range, achieving energy class A and 40% energy savings compared to previous models.

For the propane Integral solution, Epta presents GranVista Integral Ultra/SkyView Integral Perform and GranBering Integral Ultra/SkyLight Integral Perform models, part of the GranFit/SkyEffect family with an Air condensation system. GranBering Integral Ultra/SkyLight Integral Perform is equipped with compressors with inverters and a hybrid defrost system, achieving over 30% energy savings. Additionally, Waterloop versions allow for heat recovery for other in-store applications, enhancing thermal management.

As an example of CO2 remote cabinets, the vertical positive MD7 from the Nordic Line/Nordic Star, designed for the Hard Discount segment, will be shown in its glycol version. This unit includes the Pipe Most configuration, simplifying installation and ducting.

EPTA, POWERING UP INNOVATION IN REFRIGERATION

At Chillventa 2024, EptaTechnica will unveil expanded modular power packs and transcritical CO2 refrigeration plants. Joining the ECO2Small, ECO2Middle, and ECO2Large units, the new ECO2Compacta power pack stands out for its compactness, efficiency, and reliability. After rigorous field testing, Eco2Compacta is now available, offering capacities from 15 to 45 kW for medium-temperature and 0 to 9 kW for low-temperature applications. It is suitable for indoor and outdoor installations, with low noise and easy maintenance in confined spaces.

As part of Epta's integrated offering, EptaTechnica’s expertise in store design is complemented by post-sales services, enhanced by EptaService’s digital technologies. The LifeCycle Program now features the SwitchON Tech App, supporting refrigeration technicians with maintenance. Compatible with cabinets equipped with the SwitchON Terminal Strip or those ready for its installation, the app, available in six languages, allows constant monitoring of operating parameters.
