As announced on March, over 70 rising start-ups have presented their projects to our international jury to be present at the Rising Start-ups area of Future Lab SIAL Paris. 40 projects and companies will be at SIAL Paris to present their new product, equipment and service before launching it.

Conceived in partnership with the IDEFI-ECOTROPHELIA network and AgroParisTech, SIALRISINGSTARTUPS is Europe's first forecasting space dedicated to rising start-ups in the food industry sector. Selected for their boldness and inventiveness, in a partnership with the European university network, these young start-ups have maximum visibility at a crucial stage of their existence: their launch.

SIALRISINGSTARTUPS in particular provides them with the opportunity to share their experiences with a panel of entrepreneurs, investors, potential clients and the media, with a view to conquering, one day - who knows! - Planet Food! In this first edition, SIALRISINGSTARTUPS counted with 76 submitted projects, from 12 countries, from which were selected 69 to be evaluated by the selection instances. At the end, 40 finalists were chosen to be present in the Rising Start-ups area.

The finalists will present their innovative product, equipment and service during one day within the Future Lab area as well as during pitches at SIAL TV. Program and final listing of projects and start-ups to come in September.
