The Specialty Food Association (SFA) has officially revealed that Italy will serve as the partner country for both of its flagship events in 2025: the 49th Winter Fancy Food Show, scheduled for January 19-21 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, and the 69th Summer Fancy Food Show, set for June 29-July 1 at the Javits Center in New York City. This year-long collaboration celebrates Italy’s longstanding contributions to the specialty food industry and will create unique opportunities to explore Italian culinary traditions and innovations.
Renowned for highlighting the latest trends and highest-quality products in specialty food and beverages, the bi-annual Fancy Food Shows have consistently drawn global participation. Italy, a key exhibitor for over 30 years, continues to play a pivotal role in these events, and the enhanced partnership for 2025 is set to deepen its impact.
Italy’s Pavilion at the Winter Show will showcase over 90 exhibitors, offering attendees interactive experiences like a “new product zone,” chef showcases, and guided tasting sessions. Additionally, a special “Celebrating Italy” event will take place on Monday afternoon. These features reflect the event’s commitment to fostering community and exploring emerging consumer trends, including themes like Girl Dinner 2.0 and Yes, Chef.
Donato Cinelli, president of Universal Marketing and Italy’s exclusive agent for SFA, remarked, “Three decades ago, we took on the challenge of creating the Italy Pavilion at the Fancy Food Shows. In 2025, we’re honored to see Italy become the partner country for the third time. Over the years, we have witnessed the growth of Italian businesses and their storytelling—a vital element in connecting with U.S. consumers, who are increasingly drawn to the narratives behind Made in Italy: Quality, Passion, and Success.”
Bill Lynch, president of SFA, shared his enthusiasm: “The entire SFA team is thrilled to collaborate with Italy for both 2025 Fancy Food Shows. Our partners at Universal Marketing have introduced fresh ideas for the Pavilions and event activations, spotlighting the exceptional quality and sensory appeal of Italian cuisine. From live chef demonstrations to innovative product highlights, Italy’s contributions will create memorable experiences for all attendees.”
The 2025 Winter Fancy Food Show is open for registration to qualified members of the specialty food trade, industry affiliates, and media. Further details can be found on the event’s official website.
